Chelsea Wilson - Tiffany Green Operator Scholarship Award Recipient

UNIVERSITY:  Indiana University Purdue University of Indianapolis

MAJOR: Tourism, Convention, and Event Management

WHAT DRIVES HER ASPIRATIONS: Live entertainment, the women who influence it, and her journey to become a part of it

"My experience has prepared me for the demands that live event manager's face. I look forward to the challenge and the opportunity to be one of the many powerful women who have helped make the live event and entertainment industry so successful and I believe that receiving the Tiffany Green Operator Scholarship will help me do just that."

Logan Foster - US Concerts Scholarship Award Recipient

The US Concerts Scholarship awards accomplished students interested in the five core areas of the Live Nation business: concert promotion and venue operation, sponsorship and advertising, ticketing, e-commerce, and artist management.

UNIVERSITY: Baldwin Wallace University

MAJOR: Marketing, Arts Management

WHAT DRIVES HIS ASPIRATIONS:  The resounding impact of seeing his first concert and his passion for creating those experiences for other music fans - he even built a concert review site called Applaud Squad

"As I look back on the past twenty-two years of my life, I will always remember July 14th, 2010 as the day that music changed my life. My mother, sister and I traveled the distance from our small, rural town in Ohio to the city of Cleveland for my first concert: The Monster Ball Tour at Quicken Loans Arena starring Lady Gaga. I can still picture my fifteen-year- old self flabbergasted at the sight of the electric 20,000+ seat concert venue. As we sat in the middle of section 100, the pop musical began -  a dynamic stage spectacle diligently designed with state of the art costumes, ambitious choreography and a storyline characterizing Gaga's difficult journey through the New York jungle. All theatrics aside, the concert had a  profound personal impact. Because of my very first concert – which was sponsored by Live Nation – I made it my mission to not only pursue a career in the music industry, but to make a significant impact in the field as reciprocation for the life-changing influence it had on me."

Payton Gammicchia - Steven J. Finkel Service Excellence Scholarship Award Recipient

Established in the memory of Steven J. Finkel, LN's US Concerts division awards students who are passionate about improving the live music customer experience for fans, artists, and employees.

UNIVERSITY: University of Central Florida

MAJOR: Entertainment Management

WHAT DRIVES HIS ASPIRATIONS: When hospitality and entertainment crossover and rising to the challenge of meeting customer service expectations at a thriving corporation.

"There is so much crossover between the entertainment and hospitality industries, which I am finding with my core classes requiring both fields of study. I believe that hospitality attributes should be implemented to any sector, from online customer support to venue management. Turning a basic service into an experience is what sets companies a part and gives them a competitive advantage. I have seen firsthand what guests and employees expect in terms of service. Turning a basic service into an experience is what sets companies apart and gives them a competitive advantage. So, in turn, I believe that hospitality should be implemented to any sector, from online customer support to venue management."
