Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti has launched Evolve Entertainment Fund – an alliance between the City of Los Angeles and industry leaders in entertainment and the non-profit sector to cultivate more diversity in film, television, and music. The initiative is set to create more opportunities for women, people of color, and low-income Angelenos pursuing careers in the entertainment industry through internships, focused mentoring, and an ongoing series of workshops and panels. Live Nation joined in the effort, pledging to offer five summer internships to boost representation in the music industry.

To celebrate the launch, Garcetti hosted an event with influential guests including filmmaker Ava DuVernay and producer Dan Lin. Bupendra Ram, Diversity and Belonging Coordinator, also represented Live Nation at the launch event. Interested in learning more about Evolve Entertainment Fund? Click here for more details.
